On this photo I cropped part of the top and right side of the photo. After that I turned it into black and white. Next, I dodged some of the highlights and the midtones. The seasoning containers got dodged a little and little part of the cup in the foreground.
Then adjusted the levels a little. Finally, I dodged part of the chair and the table a bit. I liked this photo a lot because its what my daily workspace usually looks like. I thought that the setup of the objects were good as well. This is a good example of a diaristic or autobiographical still life.

Board Games
Edited Photo:
I turned this photo into black and white. After that I dodged some of the boxes and the text on the boxes. Also, I dodged some of the wood on the shelves. Then, adjusted the levels a little. Finally I cropped a little of the right side of the photo which wasn't needed. I just really liked this photo because of its a collection of games that collected over time and I like all the path ways there are. Also its a still life in a way.

This photo I chose to take for reflection for a couple of different reasons. It reflects my love for the sport and the litteral reflection through the glass. I also changed the levels on this photo to pull out more of the darks and lights. I also cropped out a lot of other information to focus in more at the glass reflection.

Reflections
I love this photo, I get a sense of calm from this. This photo goes with my theme, "The Grey Side Of Life," because those of us who are from northern Minnesota know it's time to hunker down for the winter.
This photo works for the reflections assignment and also my theme. It works for my theme because the color is coming out of the grey.
